Firestone 44, Northwest 19 Senior Cody Grice rushed for three touchdowns and gained 144 yards on 21 carries to help the visiting Falcons (1-1) defeat the Indians (0-2). Junior quarterback Nick Heimbaugh threw two touchdown passes and completed 9-of-13 passes for 138 yards for the Falcons. Junior Timonte Anderson and sophomore Kevin Gladney each had a touchdown reception for Firestone, and senior Jordan Shaffer returned a kickoff 85 yards for a touchdown. Firestone senior kicker Alana Gaither went 5-for-5 on extra points. Northwest junior quarterback Nick Riley completed 38-of-65 passes for 295 yards and three touchdowns.
