Meet diverse people to dine out, socialize and check out cool Cleveland events. This group is for everyone! Whether you are new to Cleveland or not this is a great way to explore the Cleveland food scene. We'll be doing all kinds of things that revolve around food, be it going out to dinner, attending a cooking class or visiting a local festival. It doesn't matter how old you are or if you're married or single, this is a great social group to get to know others and make new friends.
We will be alternating between pricier and more affordable venues, from fancy restaurants to pizza or hot dog joints. If you want us to try a specific restaurant or event, please let us know.
Since we need to call the restaurant and reserve a table to ensure they aren't surprised and unprepared for a big group, we just have two simple guidelines. Please be courteous and update your RSVP at least 24 hours before an event. Repeated "no shows" for our events may result in your loss of membership.
Please fill out the Introduction & Interests sections and add a photo of yourself. This will make it easier for us to find each other at events. Thanks!
We're a group of Canton and surrounding area poker players who get together on a semi-regular basis for NL style hold em' tournaments and cash games. At this time you must be 21 or older to be a member of the group.
Our name comes from the fact that there are some advantages to going to the Movies on Mondays. Monday is sometimes a discount Movie Night... it's a night that many people have free... plus its the first night after an opening weekend (for people who do not care for opening weekend crowds).
But... we are re-organizing to better fit the Movie needs of our members. The idea is basically to get more Movie Lovers together at their local Movie Theaters (Movies EVERY DAY at almost ALL NE Ohio Movie Theaters) while at the same time sticking to our roots by offering Meetups at the Cedar Lee and other theaters that offer Foreign films and Indies. We will also have larger Meetps at Omnimax Theaters.
Please read (or look over) the "Changes to the Monday Night Movie Club" document under FILES (in the leftmost column - in Word or PDF formats)...
Then Please take the POLLs (also in the leftmost column)... by finding your geographic area first and then selecting your favorite Movie Theaters (Meetup allows only 12 POLL choices... so Theaters are broken down by NE Ohio areas). Also select any other Movie Theaters that you would like to visit occasionally even if they are out of your normal geographic areas (e.g., an Indi theater or Omnimax).
Make sure that you also take the LAST POLL to indicate your preferred times when you can fit a Movie into your schedule... http://www.meetup.com/mondaymovie/polls/217495/
Greetings, Single Parents!!!
Are you a single divorced, widowed or adoptee parent? Having a hard time finding that balance between parenting and social life? Feeling like a fifth wheel between your married and single/never married friends? Looking for new activities to do with your kids as well as new friends who share your experiences and conundrums as a single parent?
If so, we’d love to invite you over to our group, the West Side Single Moms and Dads! The WSSMD is a friendly, diverse, active and fun group of single parent individuals and their kids on the West Side of Cleveland (we even have some east side members and some that come from as far away as Sandusky!), who have come together to share in our experiences and build long lasting friendships, as well as enrich the lives of our kids! All are welcome: single divorced, adoptee, widowed, never-married, custodial or non-custodial: single parents are single parents, and we all share a common bond!
As we all know, being a single parent can be a tough order of business. Getting back out there during or after a divorce or other life-changing event to make new friends and find fun, new and safe places for your kids to interact with other kids can be hard to do with a busy schedule. So, if you’re looking for a group who "gets" where you’ve been and what you’re going through, and that holds fun, diverse kid-friendly events, drop on by and check us out!
Many of our single parent members have uploaded photos from our past events to give you an idea of some of the places we've been, so check 'em out! We hold a variety of events, from Metroparks outings and playground events, to Cedar Point and mini-road trips to interesting local places! We also try to design events that as many age groups as possible can enjoy (the group has ages ranging from toddlers all the way up to teenagers!) All that being said, we're looking forward to meeting you and your kids soon! Come on over and see what we're all about! "Single parent" doesn't have to mean on your own!!!
Need to get out more? Want to meet people and stay active? Come join us. I am starting this group for those of us who are single and 40 or over, as I feel we have alot of life and fun left in us!
Get out of the house, make new friends, try new things....
I am open to suggestions for meetings and activities. I would like to stay active and social winter and summer. Looking to dine, wine, bike, hike, talk, coffee, movies, travel, volunteer, etc.
If there is something you have always wanted to do....but haven't because you didn't want to go alone..please let me know and we will plan it!
You can never have too many friends....
(social, not a dating site)
Dogs...get your patron out of the House!
Bring them to a Dog Romp!
You know... your patron needs to get out more, socialize with other humans.
So here's your chance to get your patron OFF THE LEASH!
Bring them here so they can let you go and become comfortable and secure in the fact that they won't lose you just because they let go of the leash! You know how those silly humans are always so scared they will get lost, and start calling your name every 5 seconds... Well, at the DOG ROMP.... they talk with OTHER humans and forget about you for a few minutes so you don't have to always be checking in on them!
Have them take you to Gibbs Meats in Columbia Station or Sundaes in the Park afterward for a nice treat.
All the best --- Roxy! Dog Romp Hostess

We will do active activities like skiing, bike riding, hiking, but we won't push anyone beyond their fitness level. I am not a professional trainer. I am merely someone who wants to be more active and have no one with whom to be active. Let's give it a try and see how things go!

What I see in Nature is a magnificent structure that we can comprehend only very imperfectly, and that must fill a thinking person with a feeling of humility. This is a genuinely religious feeling that has nothing to do with mysticism.

Modeled on the Socrates Café concept, the Thinkers Club is a reading and discussion group intended to provide a fun, non-judgmental forum to discuss and debate philosophical topics with other critical thinkers. The group will read primary and secondary sources in the history of philosophy as well as in fiction, history, politics, religion, art, culture, sociology, psychology, etc. that generate philosophical inquiry. The Thinkers' Club will be run democratically and all readings will be selected by the group. Don't hesitate to attend if you can't find the time to read; you'll still be able to participate in the discussions. Members of all creeds, backgrounds, and walks of life are encouraged to attend. At the Thinkers' Club, we are of the opinion that philosophy is intended to explore - not dictate - views. On that note, bring an open mind and a friendly tolerance/respect for others' ideas.

Thank you for your interest. I enjoy learning and playing the game of NL poker. It's definitely the more you know, the more you know that you don't know. I'm in my 5th year of 'learning' and I love the game, the shared common interest with other local players and the excursions to local and not-so-local places to play.
I realize that time is tight for myself and many other players in the area that take this game seriously.. and it is my dedication to offer the best and rewarding game(s) in the area. We have 2 professional tables and one has a ShuffleTech Shuffler installed in it! Our league games are run professionally and with as great an atmosphere as can be had. If you can only get out once a week or so to play, it is my goal to make this the one you want to go to.
We also run higher buy in and satellite games too. These are usually held on a Friday night and buy ins range from $100 to $250. These games will have professional dealers and food brought in.
This poker meetup is a HOME game and done for fun & learning. I strive for prefection and do not derrive income from this meetup. Please click on the Calendar section to see our next meetup!

We have members with little to no experience, and members that have been creating films for over a decade. With the combined experience of all of our members, we strive to share information, and try to make it a little easier for the indie film maker to access the resources they'll need to bring their projects to reality. With our group projects, LHO also teaches the art of indie film making through hands-on implementation of each members skills and talents. Becoming a member is easy. Come to a meeting, sign up and if you choose to participate in our projects, we'll fill you in on times, location and so on. There are no dues. More information can be found at our website, www.littlehollywoodohio.com.
I would like to start a group for older people who are mostly alone and need some fun and friendship in their lives. By fun I mostly mean dining out. As a serious arthritic, I am not into hiking, mountain climbing, harley riding, etc. I would like to fold my arthritic hand around a martini, have a nice dinner and some good conversation. I would like to get to know members better and possibly even become friends. This site is not a singles site.

Our original intent was to bring people together to fight the unconstitutional Great Lakes Water Compact designed after the United Nations Agenda 21 chapter 18 plan to control the fresh water of the USA and rob us of our constitutional private property rights. Now we have just kicked it up a notch to include ANYTHING that comes out of the United Nations Agenda 21 GLOBAL plan for the United States. This New World Order agenda has taken root in our great republic thru the use of state and local councils and boards known as NGOs or (non-governmental organizations). These groups advise our elected representatives concerning the introduction of new laws and regulations which always involves the loss of our constitutional rights and real property inclusive of our hard earned money, land, and natural resources, etc. Most Americans have no idea what is going on, or that our country and our lives are both being jeopardized by the (er-hem) innocent actions of a bunch of indoctrinated "do-gooders" set out to make this a "better world" and a global community (that most of us would much rather have nothing to do with) no matter what we think, or what part of the constitution they destroy. ~TW

Therefore, I'm going to discontinue the Akron Independent Movie Lovers.
I encourage all of you to join the Monday Night Movie Meetup and the Cleveland Independent Movie Goers.
The Cleveland group will appeal to those of you who prefer independent and foreign films. It's my favorite Meetup group!
If someone would like to take my place as organizer of the Akron Independent Movie Lovers, contact me by January 15. On January 16, our page will disappear from the Meetup site.

From the same book title, Meetup to support, give our experience, strength and hope to local girls and women who have lost their mothers. VISIT OUR BLOG AT cfmd.blogspot.com
We are all just ordinary women who have joined this group to find friendship, understanding and comfort in the fact that we are not alone. If you have lost your mother, you know how lonely a feeling it can be sometimes. Not many people can truly understand unless they have been there. That is where we, hopefully, come in. We just want to be there to listen, to offer hope, to offer words of wisdom, and maybe even friendship if you are so inclined.
If you are thinking of joining and attending a meeting, please know this up front: our meetings are located in the Akron area and Twinsburg only. As much as I would like to appease everyone's distance issues, I simply cannot without inconveniencing the majority of members who do live in the Akron area and joined because this was a local group, including myself. I wish that I could accommodate everyone in the Northeastern Ohio area, but I am only one coordinator and we are only one group. If you're willing to drive to the meetings, we look forward to meeting you. If you can't, we understand... and hope that you will understand why I must have limitations with regard to meeting locations.

We are all around and yet sometimes hard to find. This group is about creating an awareness of people, places and activities that explore the many dimensions of our existence. There are thousands of people in the Cleveland area who are seeking more information on how to live this lifetime to its fullest. There is so much more to life than meets the eye and sometimes fellow seekers are hard to find. So we think. Our neighbors, coworkers and many others we interact with are seeking also but for some reason many of us feel alone or that someone else would not understand our search. Many of us have an awareness of our psychic gifts. It is a natural part of being human. We are healers, mediums, we can see the angelic realms, sometimes we just have a "knowing" and often we don't know how to grow in these areas or how to tap into them in the first place. We just know there is something more out there. Using our full potential requires knowledge and practice. Our full capabilities can effect growth in our personal lives, our business and professional lives and our spiritual lives. All of this starts with a sharing of information and opportunities to meet and experience life on a fuller scale. There is an awareness sweeping through our human existence and it is touching every aspect of life. While we wander around wondering what to do, who we are, and how to connect, we are somewhat ineffective for ourselves and for the planet. We can be better at this life when we recognize the gifts that come naturally to us and the connection we have to a larger world. We all experience the "metaphysical." We often call it coincidence or luck or a hunch or a miracle but there is more to it than that and we have more access to it than chance. This meetup group is about connecting with people, places and events that allow us to experience the energy of our totality as human beings. Knowledge, practice and a celebration of life will be the themes. There is a lot going on and there are many teachers available. We just have to have a place to access that information and this meetup group will attempt to provide that. In order to do so, members will have to share opportunities as they become aware of them. Events, classes, shops, schools, churches, fairs, expos, groups..............anything you come across that can enhance our multifaceted existence, please let us know. We will also schedule meetups starting in the Fall. Through formal and informal conversations we can be sparked with new insights. Sometimes just being in the energy lets you know you are "okay" and your desire for more is just part of your human nature. Throughout history people at every level of society, from midwives, preachers and farmers, to Popes, Pharaohs and Queens have used metaphysical means to access their full potential. It's who we are. Please join me in creating a space where information flows and opportunity creates a richer life.

This group is for those individuals who would like to join a supportive, spiritual community as we celebrate and honor ourselves and the full moon every month. Tina Fisher has been facilitating full moon ceremonies for over three years, currently, you have two opportunities to join us in a Full Moon Ceremony. The outdoor one, nature based, is held outside at Angel House in Strongsville Ohio. The second one, held on the second day of the full moon is held at Michelle Star Yoga and Healing Arts. Each ceremony has a theme that helps us connect to spirit, bring healing, and peace. Its non-denominational, meaning everyone of every walk is welcome. During the Outdoor Full Moon ceremony at Angel House, we gather around a sacred bond fire. Bring your drums, Rattles, blankets and more! During the ceremony we open up the fire for prayers, releases, thanksgivings, and blessings! We welcome anyone who would like to come together to be a part of a nurturing, encouraging, Spiritual community and embrace all walks of religion and spirituality whoever you perceive spirit to be.
I am in the process of opening a coffee shop in Munroe Falls and want to get coffee lovers together to talk, drink, and spread the word about great coffee and all the things that go great with it. I would also love to establish a loyal and knowledgable clientelle base starting with the club, and in return provide catered meetings for the group.
If you are in Munroe Falls or the surrounding areas and are looking for a place to relax, meetup, and enjoy great locally produced coffee, tea, and treats this group is for you.
The shop is called Coffee, Fables, and Nooks and located at 186 North Main St. (rt. 91) in Munroe Falls.
Unless you have done some pretty significant research, your first question might be: What exactly IS a Libertarian? And it's a good question because there is a lot of confusion about all of the "third parties" - not just ours.
"Aren't these the potheads who want to legalize marijuana?" - That's one of my favorites and obviously the favorite of the media. In fact, whenever you see an interview with a Libertarian on the news, it's always one of the first questions. I wonder why? In fact - if this is true - then Libertarians MUST be wacko leftist liberals...
"Aren't these guys the pure free-market capitalists - where anything goes - and all government regulation is evil?" Another gem. There's nothing scary about power-hungry, ethically-deprived capitalists after all. That said, if this is true, then Libertarians MUST be wacko rightist conservatives...
"But wait... they are for gay marriage!" - they must be leftists!!!
"I know they are active in citizens' right to bear arms!" - they must be rightists!!!
"They think abortion laws shouldn't be decided at the federal level!" - they must be liberals!!!
"They think the US Constitution is the law that governs us at the federal level!" - they must be conservatives!!!
"They are against using military force for political or social gain!" - they must be Democrats!!!
"They promote fiscal responsibility and a balanced budget amendment!" - they must be Republicans!!!
So what are Libertarians? Unfortunately, we don't fit into the neat little boxes that the current, powerful parties want you to choose. In fact, most Libertarians I have met don't even agree with everything on the Libertarian Party platform!
However, we do agree on ONE thing... LIBERTY. And that is the basis for the name of our party.
We believe an individual is the best gauge for his or her own life - what they want to achieve, where they want to live and work, and what role that they want to play in a society. We also believe in your neighbor's right to do the same. Therefore, according to our belief, YOU have the right to do whatever you want to do as an adult in our society - but NOT at the expense of someone else's liberty.
And that is our view of the role of the government. ENSURE my liberty and punish those who encroach on my freedoms and harm me in the process. Of course, as pragmatists as well, we obviously recognize that society/government needs to provide things like roads, parks. police, etc.
So what about those stereotypes mentioned prior? Does that mean that they are true? Are Libertarians FOR pot smoking, winner-take-all capitalism, gay sex, gun holster-wearing wild west society, reading the Constitution like it is the Bible, limited military, slash-the-budget-and-screw-the-poor-and-disadvantaged... people? Seriously - do we need to even ask that question? Because it's a stupid question...
...and WE THE PEOPLE aren't stupid. In fact, the Libertarian Party is the ONLY party of the big three parties that doesn't insult your intelligence! Why? Because the other two parties believe that you cannot make your own choices about your life. You NEED more legislation to govern your life.
For too long we have been represented by two "big government" parties - the "conservative big government party" (aka the Republican Party) and the "liberal big government party' (aka the Democratic Party). There is NO DEBATING this... BOTH parties have held control of all three branches of the federal government at different times. BOTH parties have increased the size of the federal government EVERY YEAR, and have stripped the state and local governments' ability to govern locally. That is not how the United States is supposed to operate!
Does an INCREASING federal government give you MORE freedom, choices, opportunities and liberties... or LESS? It's not rocket science - is it?
The purpose of this group is to inform our fellow citizens of Stark County about our Party and to provide a third and viable option in the polling booth... finally! We will also educate - as well as learn from - our membership about the founding of our country, the principles and documents that forged the way for our great country, and to share the philosophy and principles of the Libertarian Party.
Join us at a meetup and meet your local libertarian citizens and see if we are on the same page. If you like it, you can get involved in the development of the party in Stark County. You can also just attend some meetings if you wish.
Or... you can just sit around and complain about the government with your friends while continuing to vote the same way you have always voted. As Dr. Phil would say, "How's that working out for you?"
It's your life, your family. your town, your county, your state, and your nation.
Do something - or do nothing. It's your choice.
We hope you'll join us at least once to check it out. You may even meet people and have fun...

I decided to start this group because I love to watch the fights, talk about the fights and most of all go to the fights. The purpose of this group is to pull people together at different events involving mixed martial arts which could be to watch a UFC event at a local bar or attend local fights. This group is open to anyone who likes mixed martial arts.
Calling all Mommies of Toddlers in Stark, Summit or Portage County! It's time to shine with our babies born in 2007, 2008 and 2009!
This is a playgroup for children born in 2007, 2008 and 2009. It is also for the mothers of these special babies that want to make some lasting friendships for themselves (and their children!) and have the interest in partipating on a regular basis! This group is based in Stow, but there are also playdates in Green, Kent, Canton, North-Canton, Cuyahoga Falls, Fairlawn, and occasionally, Cleveland.
There will be in-home playdates, day trips, parks, picnics, concerts, and anything members can recommend that would be fun for moms and small children! If there is something you want to do with your kids it can be posted on the calendar and other members can join in the fun! There will be day, evening and weekend activities posted.
This group is for stay at home or working mothers who need social activities for themselves and their little ones!
In order to protect the privacy and ensure the safety of the group members and their children you must first attend a meetup. After you request to join the group an organizer will email you with some meetup choices and after you are able to attend then you will be given access to our meetup page. We share phone numbers, addresses and sometimes personal information and we all know each other, and before you have access we need to meet you!
~Please, NO solicitors. We want friends, and activities, not people trying to sell us stuff!
Meet with local parents who are interested in a local Playgroup for you and your child! This is a wonderful group that we have. We also have a Moms/Parents Night out once a month. We are ALWAYS open to suggestions for activities. We try to have at least 2 playgroups a week. This group is all about events! We enjoy creating and participating in unique, fun and educational adventures with our kids. Our events are SAHM and working mom-friendly. Events will take place at various times to accomodate all schedules. Playgroups are held at different locations throughout Stark and Summit County. We also take a few "trips" to Cleveland, Akron, Medina, Green, Navarre and New Philadelphia as well for various events. We're not limited to just one area.
We will participate in many types of activities and events and love to get new ideas. Here is just a small list of things we do: zoos, parks, tours, home play dates, swimming, museums, and community events. We also organize Moms' Night Out, Couple’s Night Out and Family Day/Night Out events. We include our hubbies in a lot of our events so that we eventually all know one another.
This is a laid back easy group. We don't have lots of "rules" and regulations like some other groups. All I ask is that you keep in touch when I plan events so I can know how many members will be in attendance. Also when you join, please do a little intro and tell us about yourself and your child/children.

That's why I why I started this group. We teach 2 (soon to be more) Cricut classes a month where you will complete a 2 page layout. We are students of the Kagyu, Nyingma, and Shambhala lineages who gather to practice meditation as well as studying and contemplating the teachings.
Meditation instruction is always available free of charge for beginners or those wishing to deepen their connection to meditation practice.
We typically practice both sitting and walking meditation for about an hour followed by tea time and a group study session or dharma talk. We approach the teachings seriously, personally, and with a sense of humor.
This group is for people who are involved in the next wave of commerce e-businesses. Each month we'll delve into the issues that e-business owners face.

Dr. Robert O. Young says that when we are ill it is due to an over-acidification of the body from an inverted way of eating, living or thinking.
The purpose of this meeting is to share information about the areas of our life that we can improve on that will help us to uncover optimal information for our foods, the products we use and the thoughts that we have.
Please join us as we begin this exchange! We will also be deciding what date and time will work for future meetings.
PLEASE DON'T WEAR ANY PERFUME OR SCENTED HAND CREAM TO THE MEETING!

I can't believe a group like this doesn't already exist! So, I guess I'd better start it! :)
For anyone who enjoys playing backgammon (or would like to learn), I am part of a small group which meets up once a month at ZOUP in Independence (or, if Zoup ios closed then we go to Starbucks, Wendy's or Quizno's, all of which are located within the same plaza). ...We set out our backgammon boards, eat some lunch, play some games & have some laughs! :) It would be nice to expand this group & meet others who love the game.
All ages & skill levels are welcome! Currently, our little group consists of experienced players who compete in tournaments, but if you're new to the game or not very experienced, we will be glad to explain the rules & share strategies, etc. No problem! Also, we do not typically play for money at these smaller meetings. These are basically just for our own practice, however, any 2 players can agree on a wager if they choose to do so. That's at your own discretion. ...For the most part, we just go there to eat, talk 'n play! :)
Our meetings always begin at 1pm. I will post the date & location of our next meeting and, anybody who wants to come on down & join us, is encouraged to do so! Just walk in & look for the people with backgammon boards! :)

This group is for those interested in Street Combatives; CQC, Close Quarter Combatives; Combative Knife). (THIS GROUP IS NOT THE GAME,, BUT REAL STREET COMBATIVES)
Todays streets are dangerous, especially in our cities. In the real world, the first two to three seconds of an attack are the most crucial and the most deadly. You must be able to immediately fight back with enough force and effectiveness to stop the attack. When attacked, YOU ARE FIGHTING FOR YOUR LIFE.
LMI Incorporation has engineered a Combative system called; Integrated Street Combatives. This is a well faceted integrated combative system which emphasizes a combat mindset and a simple ideology; ATTACK YOUR ATTACKER. When attacked, you must immediately and vigorously attack you attacker, targeting vital organs, their nervous system and their physical structure (bones, muscles, etc)
LMIs Integrated Street Combative System teaches techniques that are aggressive and depends only on gross motor skills and have been proven to be easy to remember, easy to apply under pressure and have been street tested to be effective. LMIs Integrated Street Combative System was built for the streets. It is based on a few simple but dynamic foundations that cover both standing and ground combatives.
LMI does not teach techniques that require fine integrate movements or a series of multiple movements in order for you to stop an attacker. Under pressure when your heart starts racing, your body will go into survival mode where only large gross movements prevail. These are the movements that LMI teaches. It must work under pressure for it to work on the streets.
In the real world, there are no referees making sure that every one is playing by the same rules because on the streets; THERE ARE NO RULES,, and you must cheat to stay alive.
With all combative training, the most important and most dangerous weapon that a person
can posses is a properly trained and conditioned mind, we call it Having a Warrior Mindset.
Having a Warrior mindset is essential to winning a lethal attack. Building this mindset is the main objective in the training at LMI.
LMI Specializes in Street Combatives including
Close Quarter Combatives
Combative Knife
Combative Pistol
Combative Shotgun
Combative Rifle
LMI is looking for like minded individuals to meet and talk with, as well train and share ideas with.

I started this group because one day I discovered how little I knew about. And how little doctors know about health. Disease, sure. But what creates, maintains and enhances good health is something I am interested in exploring with like-minded folks. I also realized that women are really the caretakers of the nation's health and that I am setting an example for my daughters and their children, husbands and extended family! So healthy living and loving is at the top of our list here!! Join us!!

The mission of this organization is to advance, uphold and defend the principles of individual liberty, justice, free enterprise and limited government as derived from the Declaration of Independence, the Bill of Rights and the Constitution of the United States. The organization works to elect to public office Republican candidates who demonstrate a commitment to these same principles. The organization works to affect public policy by educating voters, engaging in public dialogue and promote advocacy campaigns.
The organization reflects the core Republican beliefs that individuals are capable of making their own way in the world, going as far as their talents and ambitions take them while abiding by the law and living by sound moral principles consistent with their own beliefs, and that government should do only that which the private sector can not do as well, all the while respecting and refraining from any acts that interfere with the rights of the individual.

Anyone who is interested in crochet, who crochets now or wishes to learn, beginner to advanced, child to retiree, can join up and help me create a local community.
My purpose for starting this is simple - I'm seeking others in my area with a similar interest. Our purpose as I see it is simply to be able to meet others, socialize, sound-off about current projects (or current outside issues that drive us to our hooks..)...I hope we can create a group that enjoys getting together to yack and hook, without needing to do hors d'oeuvres (yes I had to look that up) and fancy little napkins, just people getting together casually.
This group is for any critical thinking Pagan or other interested person or group who would like to see a Cleveland written and produced Pagan themed rock opera. This will be an independent production drawing on thoughts, experiences and ideas generated by this Meetup group. If you like to discuss philosophy, talk about different paths, like to be creative and enjoy concept ideas then you are welcome. You must not take yourself to seriously and be able to face criticism as well as perhaps poke some fun at yourself or your thoughts at times. If I can produce this the funds will go to charities suggested and voted on by the members after any required costs are met. No show will go on unless we can pay the bills and that includes any costs that I incur in the pursuit of the production. Other than that we don't get paid - period. Members will be credited in the production.
''When the foundations are being destroyed, what can the righteous do ?" Psalms 11:3
Not only are the foundations of America being destroyed, but the men of faith, wisdom, and courage that laid those foundatins are being denigrated and written out of our history books. Our goal is to reclaim our heritage and rebuild our foundations by making the patriots of the past come to life. We read their papers and give their speeches in the public square. We dress in their period clothing and do re-enactments in our schools, churches, and other appropriate venues.
"Life, Liberty, and The Pursuit Of Happiness" is a proud legacy which must be perserved and passed on to future generations. If a picture is worth a thousand words, a live re-enacter is worth a thousand pictures! Breathing life into past patriots is an important and worthy undertaking. A nation must stengthen its idenity and culture by telling and teaching the great accomplishments of the past. Heroes and role models are necessary for new generations to come of age and accept the mantle that is being passed to them.
If you are looking for a friendly environment to practice your rusty, average, excellent, or native French, please join us in this Meetup. Hello All. This is a group geared toward paper crafting and now quilting. I will be offering all kinds of classes over the next few months for a very reasonable fee. These classes will include Mommy and Me classes that are great to bring the kids too and watch the excitement in their eyes as they just created what they think is the coolest thing ever. We will also have classes on stamping techniques for those that have been stamping for quite some time. I will also have clubs if there enough people that show interest and want to meet every month. During the months leading to Christmas there will be what I call a stamp-a-stack where we will make Christmas Cards. I will have classes on using our big shot and dies to make quilts and quilting projects. Much, much, much more. I am really excited to get women together to share their creative outlet and meet people to just hang out with and create!
This group is for those who have either always loved the sport, or perhaps whom have fell in love with the sport through incorporating it into their fitness routines. This is a time sensitive story about the elephant in the room that no one wants to talk about, let alone look at:
Having a solar calendar superior to ours, the Mayans are the only civilization to leave us with complete and accurate astronomical records of outer or longer planetary motion within our solar system, called: the 'long count'... Of particular importance are the alignments of those outer planets, giving us a new understanding of what the Earth has gone through since it's beginning, as confirmed by our current laws of physics...
We know that the moon has a tremendous pull on the Earth's gravity and, depending on it's alignment with the sun, can even be very disturbing, according to some interesting observations...
The same is true with the alignments of other planets that cross our path as well, especially when they include the sun and the Milky Way or 'mother ship' of eternal souls to those 'primitive tribes' who mapped all of this into wheels of coded glyphs, which we now understand...
Ironically, the ancient i-ching and recent i-bot come to the exact same conclusions, mathematically.
Now we have at least 2 non-stellar charts that agree with the Mayans; that a complete polar shift happens every 26,000 yrs... Further verified by geologists, such a gravitational shift has caused the Earth to turn upside down as continents break apart, collide and unleash molten fire into the eventual darkness of another ice age or 'long count', again... In the middle of that long cycle, an ice age also occurs every 13,000 years, as with the creation of the Great Lakes basin, for example.
Conversely, on average, the Earth's axis shifts 1º every 72.2 yrs. and that's the math = 180 and 360.
Based on history, scientists and scholars admit that these charts, can, in fact, predict the next major polar shift, 'long count' or Doomsday and all point to: the winter solstice of 2012, a mere 30 months from now and counting down...
Accordingly, this will be the 5th major shift or Doomsday to occur over the life of our planet and most convincingly now, is the rate of increased climate change, like the melting of the polar ice caps, flooding, hurricanes, tsunamis, earthquakes, drought, wild fires, famine and serious volcanic activity above and below the ocean's floor - record methane gas bubbles are being released from below...
This recent phenomenon has brought negative change or mass destruction to many countries like Antarctica, China, Chile, Greenland, Haiti, Iceland, India, Mexico, Pakistan, etc...
Disaster preparedness is one thing, but this magnitude is too great, we only have a tiny window of hope and opportunity to develop mini-environments or capsules for survival - so are you up for the challenge or are you going to wait and see, after it's too late?
I am not going to sit by and be part of this horror show, we can beat this rap and there are a few ways to escape, if we can just get something built or activated in time so who's on board?
Greenies: She's gonna blow, we can no longer save the planet, only ourselves - the writing is on the wall... Skeptics: Irregardless, our projects have practical application in emergency/disaster relief, red cross, military, medical, research, NASA, adventure, etc...
"Everything is predictable" - Albert Einstein.
PLAN A - Help build sustainable, indestructible, buoyant or high altitude environments that operate on renewable energy and/or fuel cells over the long term - whatever works...
PLAN B - Get buried in a well stocked wine cellar, wait for Jesus to arrive in a prayer bottle, hug the drain pipe or bedpost for dear life as we are being crushed and burned?
.
Finally ~ an opportunity to join other smokers, share tips with your new buds, trade, find deals, order in bulk ~ cigars and pipes always welcome...
We will meet in a central location, outside, in a park or on a back porch with room to romp, whatever works...
I have a friend who grows his own so we'll try it out in a few months, after curing...
Although smoking can be dangerous to your health, the intangible benefits often outweigh the risks and exercise or sweating is a good way to eliminate such toxins in the body.
Warning: members must be reasonable fit, active and responsible, no menthol, drinkers or heavy coughers - cancer patients/survivors welcome, but we shall not worsen your illness, thanks...
